Hello there,

Welcome to the source of the Anousha Victoire website. We'd like to talk a little about the pressure
that comes with building a site such as this. Just because we're web geeks doesn't mean we don't feel
the need to express ourselves creatively. And whilst it wouldn't be professional to use this space, to
speak out, I feel that the source is adequately removed from the public eye, for a little honest
expression to not be out of place.

Firstly, the most important issue, and the greatest tension that arose between the creators. The
yellow on the side bar has been the subject of many debates, raising our collective blood
noticeably. Baby poo belongs in babies or in nappies - not on website backgrounds. Perhaps if the
audience you were targetting were those suffering from post-natal depression, then an argument could be
mounted for using baby poo as a visual theme. But for a folk singer's site, it just doesn't fit.

Secondly, the West Wing is far better than Enterprise, and always will be. I haven't wanted to say this
to your face, but the truth is starting us in the face and I cannot let it go unstated any longer.
Enterprise is quality television, but West Wing is truly inspired. And Stockard Channing is far sexier
than Jolene Blalock. Lycra has no place outside the olympics.

The third tension isn't nearly so significant as the first two, but I still don't understand why you
put sauce on your chips at the chip shop, even though you know you won't be eating them for five
minutes, and by the time you do eat them, they'll be completely soggy.

there are many things, many struggles we have faced during the past few weeks. we've laughed, we've
cried, we've played frisbee, we've eaten chips, you've stolen my sms friends....but all in all i think
you're a pretty good guy.

thinking back to how all this started... me coming back from anousha'a cd launch, going into
movabletype to add anousha's website link to my site and then thinking 'oh, i better go check out the
site first' so i went, with you sitting by my side. we saw 'anousha victoire', a broken image, and
'coming soon'. after seeing that i decided i wouldn't link her just yet. you said that we should offer
to do the site for her so we emailed her..... weeks went by and no response - was it true, was she
really a snobby exclusive songwriter?? we had lost all hope until we saw her play, you for the first
time, at the palais. i requested a song and she sung it, mind you, she had forgotton most of the
words... anyway after the gig had finished i went to thank her for singing, or rather stumbling through
the requested song. i mentioned the email we'd sent and she told me she hadn't received it but that she
would be pretty grateful if we would help her out. we met at the kent, had a drink and got into trouble
for using their powerpoint for her laptop. *sigh*

it's been weird but fun. finding out her secret med student life, seeing her geeky photo on the abc far
north queensland site... i hope you saved that one incase we need to bribe her...

i agree that there have been a few design issues, just this afternoon i had to sit you down and take
you through the site fixing up weird spacings and images....text placement has been stressful but i
think in the long run we'll be able to look back at it and pat ourselves on the back..

i think the most important factor in all this, the thing we have to thank for our commitment to the
website was our extreme procrastination about other work we probably should have been doing. our
educational lives are suffering, and all for this website - i hope it's appreciated, not only by
anousha but by the whole nation.... no, no the whole world. ...and possibly even the entire
universe...ok., maybe that's going a little too far. this green text on black is getting me into a
sort of sci-fi mood. it's all sort of matrix like.... soon there will be a knock at the door and we'll
go off to a party with a group of spunky people and meet a girl call trinity...or maybe she'll be
called kim, like the girl from Mobil. actually, ryan did i tell you about that? it was very amusing....
also the guy working at Mobil was called Ryan also.

No, ryan of course i'm not procrastinating about my Art history assignment due tomorrow...not at all, i
mean i have until 9am tomorrow and it's only 8pm now....that's...umm...quite a few hours.. plenty of
time.

Now, about West Wing verses Enterprise... i don't think you can even have that argument. for starter's
they are not even the same genre... it's like comparing potatoes and tomatoes... one is starchy and
the  other is, well, seedy. I guess you can compare characters, but seriously, Jolene Blalock wins
hands down...it's just no contest....anyway, what sort of name is 'Stockard Channing'?? it sounds like
a frozen chicken brand. 'Stockard Channing : we put the 'c' in chicken'.

we'll i think it's time to go now, i have to make sure you've changed that image, and i have to pour
some white vinegar on my sunburn. we don't have white though so i'll have to use brown. i could use
balsamic but that might get too sticky. now i feel like making a salad....
